Purdue Army ROTC defined-
Purdue University's Army ROTC is an organization that takes students and teaches them to be soldiers and officers in the Army by using commissioned officers, a well developed course, and experiences in the field. The combination of this allows for an environment that no one else can compete with, making the community developed and functional.
Everyday college students do not all have the same experience. Some go own the path of Greek life while others find themselves involved in different clubs. One of those organizations is Purdue University Army ROTC. Here in West Lafayette, Indiana, Purdue has crafted an ROTC program that is one of the best around the nation. When cadets are tested against other students from other programs, we consistently are ranked above them. The chain of command that runs the program is made of officers from the Army tasked to define and teach students to be the officers that the Army wants. We are students being taught to be soldiers making the community different than any other here at Purdue. Purdue shapes its cadets very well and prepares them to be scholars and soldiers making them very well rounded.
